The Dallas Cowboys are the latest NFL team to be impacted by COVID-19 protocols. On Monday, it was announced that a handful of players and coaches were headed to the COVID list, including talented wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, according to Michael Gehlken of Dallas Morning News.

This could make things a bit tricky as they prepare to conclude their preseason slate on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. According to Todd Archer, the Cowboys had to alter their plans as the regular season approaches quickly.

Head coach Mike McCarthy will head to the drawing board and see how they can adjust during the week of practices. The Cowboys start the season on the biggest stage against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 9, the first game of the entire NFL season.
However, questions swirl about the availability of quarterback Dak Prescott, and if there are more COVID-19 issues, there could be even more questions with the opener. Despite the NFL implementing new COVID-19 protocols, the issue still exists, and the hope is that the 2021 season could be a little better than the 2020 season was with all the protocols.
Only time will tell, but so far, the issues are still there and should cause some problems.
