The Dallas Cowboys are no longer undefeated. On “Sunday Night Football,” the ‘Boys lost an offensive struggle to the New Orleans Saints in the Dome. However, you'd be hard-pressed to find their quarterback, Dak Prescott, thinking about that.

Said Prescott on Thursday, via Jon Machota of The Athletic:

“We can’t focus on that (loss at New Orleans). We know the potential of this team. We know how good we can be. We can’t focus necessarily on what the record is. You take the good, you take the bad, you live and learn from it and you get better because of it.”

What's the best way to move forward? Forget about the past. That's exactly what Prescott is doing, who went 22 for 33 for 223 yards, no touchdowns and an interception on Sunday.

Though the Cowboys dropped a game, they are still firmly on top of the NFC East standings, as they sit at 3-1, ahead of the 2-2 Philadelphia Eagles and 2-2 New York Giants. The Washington Redskins, on the other hand, are 0-4.

To continue their stronghold on the East, the Cowboys must pick up a win on another big-time game in Week 5. On Sunday, they will face Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, who are 3-1 after a loss to the Eagles. They will do so in Dallas at 3:25 p.m. CT.

Despite the loss, Prescott continues to have an impressive season. Through four games, he has 1,143 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions on a 72.4% completion rate.

He is firmly entrenched in the MVP race.
