The Dallas Cowboys have signed former Oakland Raiders cornerback Daryl Worley to a one-year deal according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

This is a low-risk addition and Worley will probably have some work to do just to make the 53-man roster.
Before the draft, the Cowboys' cornerback room was already crowded with Chidobe Awuzie, Jourdan Lewis, Anthony Brown, Maurice Canady and C.J. Goodwin . The team also added Trevon Diggs in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft and Reggie Robinson in the fourth round to add to the competition.
The Cowboys lost Byron Jones to the Miami Dolphins this offseason. Replacing him is going to be a tall tasks, and it could result in a platoon of players trying to replace his production.
Worley joined the Raiders in 2018, quickly becoming one of Jon Gruden's favorite players. Worley wasn't afraid to bounce around all over the secondary.
Even though it's a crowded room in Dallas, his versatility could give him a leg up on some of the others competing for playing time. Before his time with Raiders, Worley was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. During his tenure there, he was arrested near the Eagles team facility and pled guilty to three charges that included driving under the influence. The NFL suspended him four games during the 2018 season.
Since that arrest, Worley has stayed out of trouble. If he can play multiple roles for the Cowboys and stay out of trouble this could be one of the more underrated signings of the offseason.
