In a bit of a surprising move on Friday afternoon, Dallas Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott saw his six-game suspension get placed on hold after a federal judge granted a request by the NFL Players Association for a temporary restraining order and a preliminary injunction.

Following that news, Elliott sent out an Instagram post on Friday, subtly celebrating the move by quoting Meek Mill.

It is highly possible that the 22-year-old will be able to play the entire season with the court taking until after the 2017 season to settle his case. There is a chance that the case is expedited and completed at some point this year, likely in either November or December.

This news comes a few days after appeals officer Harold Henderson upheld his six-game suspension for the 2017 season, but Zeke was still deemed eligible to play for the season opener on Sunday night against the New York Giants.

For the time being, Elliott is set to be eligible to play the entire season without any legal issues in the way. His presence significantly helps the Cowboys' offense and their outlook as a Super Bowl contending team.

Elliott is coming off a breakout rookie campaign where he led the league with 1,631 rushing yards while scoring 15 touchdowns on the ground, helping him earn a Pro Bowl selection and a First-Team All-Pro nod.
