Dallas Cowboys defensive end Taco Charlton has been virtually non-existent throughout the 2018 NFL season. Team owner Jerry Jones indicated that may change in the near future.
Charlton has been a healthy inactive over the last two games. Jones said during an appearance on 105.3 The Fan that he could get more playing time to finish out the season, via the Dallas Morning News:

Charlton's lack of playing time has become somewhat of a concern. He had missed some time earlier in the year due to a shoulder injury. Unfortunately, he has been unable to find his footing after being a healthy scratch over the last two weeks. As a result, he has registered just 16 tackles and a sack this year.
Head coach Jason Garrett has been critical of Charlton's performance. The latter had seemingly taken issue with Garrett's comments after posting a rather cryptic message on Twitter. Regardless, it is clear that no one is happy with his role on defense this season. The former first-rounder has struggled to make an impact thus far in his career with only four sacks.
Despite Charlton's absence, the Cowboys still boast one of the most formidable defenses in the NFL. This group ranks near the top in nearly every major statistical category. However, their performance in Week 15 left much to be desired. If Dallas can figure out a way to get Charlton going over the next two games, it could certainly pay huge dividends for them in the playoffs.
