Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Travis Frederick will not begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

This is huge news for Frederick, who was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome this past year and ultimately ended up missing the entire 2018 campaign as a result.

Frederick, who played his collegiate football at the University of Wisconsin, was originally selected by the Cowboys in the first round (31st pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

He immediately started at center during his rookie campaign, playing in all 16 games. Frederick then went on to become an ironman of sorts for Dallas over his first five seasons, as he started every game from 2013 through 2017.

And Frederick wasn't just consistent health-wise; he was consistent in his performance, as well, as the 28-year-old made four straight Pro Bowl appearances between 2014 and 2017, including a First-Team All-Pro selection in 2016.

The Cowboys are coming off of a season in which they won 10 games and captured the NFC East division title, marking their third division crown since 2014. They then went on to defeat the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs for what was just their third postseason victory since 1997 before going in to lose to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round the following week.

Now, Dallas is entering a 2019 campaign with high expectations and is looking to repeat as a division champion for the firs time since 1996.

The Cowboys will open up their regular season by playing host to the New York Giants on Sept. 8.
