The viral sensation of a quarterback doing pre-game drills is back! On Sunday, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, in preparation of a Week 11 tilt with the Detroit Lions, did his signature drill, otherwise known as the “Dak Dance.”

Prescott's “dance” is hardly a dance. While the warmup may look odd to the non-football trained eye, it isn't quite so. The sudden hip swivel is used to loosen up his hips. If they aren't loose, he could lack a powerful swivel while throwing the ball in-game, which, in turn, could lead to a lack of velocity on his passes. Many quarterbacks do the drill.

Nonetheless, since Prescott was shown doing it on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 10, the internet has not had enough of it. From other quarterbacks to defenders to NBA players, the sports world is emulating Prescott; perhaps for the betterment of their hips.
