The Dallas Cowboys played an absolutely miserable first half against the Washington Football Team on Sunday, and they capped it off in perfectly awful fashion in the waning moments.
A catchable target for Ezekiel Elliot bobbled out of the running back's hands, resulting in an interception for Andy Dalton:

The Cowboys went into the half with a 22-3 deficit against Washington. Dallas was a disaster on both sides of the ball in the opening half, with the offense doing nothing and the putrid defense getting roasted by one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Kyle Allen and Antonio Gibson had their way for Washington.

Despite being without starting quarterback and leader Dak Prescott for the remainder of the season after a gruesome ankle injury in Week 5, Dallas was hoping to bounce back strongly against a bad Washington team after the embarrassing loss on Monday Night Football to the Arizona Cardinals.
Article Continues BelowInstead, the Cowboys have been even more embarrassing against Washington, and things really need to turn around fast for this game to wind up competitive. Dallas is in danger of falling to 2-5.
