Dak Prescott is having another strong season as quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. Despite any personal feeling you may have against Prescott, he is in the perfect system in Dallas. Jerry Jones will eventually have to open up his wallet to pay his franchise quarterback. Can Dallas win with Prescott under center? Yes. What they can't do is win with their current head coach.

Jason Garrett has been an inconsistent coach for a long time in Dallas and his time is finally running out. The Cowboys have high hopes for offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, but the play calling at the end of their loss to the Minnesota Vikings was horrible. Prescott finished the game with 397 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. The ball was taken out of his hands at the end. Regardless, the Cowboys have lost four of their last six and will look to get back in the win column against the Detroit Lions.

Here are three bold predictions for Prescott heading into this week's game against the Lions.

3. Prescott Throws 3 Touchdowns Once Again

Prescott has thrown three or more touchdowns in four games this season. He has done so in both of his previous two games. Against the Lions, he has a chance to make it three in a row and it is likely.

Matt Patricia is a defensive coach but the Lions' have been one of the worst defenses in the league this season. They rank 26th in the league allowing 272.4 passing yards per game. Opposing quarterbacks have thrown 19 touchdowns this season against the Lions. They have a tendency to play high scoring games. The Cowboys offense can get comfortable in this one and it begins with Prescott.

2. Cowboys Line Keeps Prescott Upright

Prescott is one of the best play action passers in the league. The Cowboys have the luxury of using play action a lot thanks to their dynamic run game led by Ezekiel Elliott. Mixed with short passes, Prescott gets the ball out of his hands quick which means he does not get sacked often, just 11 times this season.

Against the Lions, he will not get sacked once. There has been five games where Prescott has been sacked just once and two games where he was not at all, both against the New York Giants. The Lions are tied for 26th in the league with 19 sacks on the season. They will have a hard time getting past this talented offensive line and to Prescott.

1. Prescott Leads Double-Digit Win

This is an absolute must win game for Dallas. They let Sunday night's game slip away and now they must win this one. Dallas is currently tied with the Philadelphia Eagles atop the NFC East but their schedule is significantly harder to finish the season.

Dallas still has a game on the road against the Eagles this season. Not to mention matchups with the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and Chicago Bears. If they do not beat the Lions, their season could be over and they know that. Dallas will have a little extra energy in this game and win easy.
