The Dallas Cowboys are set to host the Washington Football Team in primetime Sunday night. The NFC East matchup is a rematch from only two weeks ago, when the Cowboys took the road win with a final score of 27-20. This storyline, along with the fact that Washington is desperately looking for late season wins, should fuel a fire for Washington — but will it be enough?
Let's take a look at my top four boldest predictions for the Week 16 NFC East game.

Cowboys Week 16 Predictions
4. Strong performance from Dallas
Although there's a lot on the line for Washington in Week 16, Dallas arguably has more to prove. In the first game of Week 16, the Tennessee Titans beat the San Francisco 49ers. This is great news for Cowboys fans, because the 49ers' loss automatically gives Dallas a spot in the playoffs.

However, many people don't view the Boys as a serious threat in the postseason. Quarterback Dak Prescott has struggled recently, and overall, they just don't seem that intimidating to other playoff locks. Come Sunday night, expect Dallas to have one of their strongest performances of the season in all aspects of the game. Why? The primetime spotlight is the perfect place for them to prove that they deserve their spot in the postseason run.
3. Ezekiel Elliott's best game yet
Everyone knows that star running back Ezekiel Elliott has been underperforming this year due to a long-lasting knee injury. Despite the injury, Elliott has been able to play through it, recording 862 rushing yards and nine touchdowns so far this season.

Article Continues BelowFollowing the Cowboys' win over the Giants in Week 15, head coach Mike McCarthy had extremely positive news on Elliott's recovery. He alluded that the running back is nearly 100% in his recovery process. As the regular season comes to an end and they get a spot in the playoffs, this news couldn't have come at a better time.
Zeke is the healthiest he has been since injuring his knee in the Cowboys' Week 4 win over the Carolina Panthers. That being said, expect over 100 rushing yards and multiple touchdowns from Elliott Sunday night.
2. Lots of offense for Dallas
As I mentioned earlier, both Dallas and Prescott have a lot to prove on Sunday. The quarterback has been struggling recently with interceptions, and threw two in the Cowboys' last meeting with Washington.
This will not be the case in Week 16, and Prescott will utilize both the rushing and passing game in order to put up points. Zeke will be the main man for the Cowboys' run game, and Prescott will connect with wide receiver CeeDee Lamb at least once in the end zone.
1. Cowboys win
The Boys will extend their three game winning streak to four on Sunday with a dominating win over Washington. They will need this winning momentum in order to finish out the season strong. Dallas faces the 10-4 Arizona Cardinals in Week 17 and NFC East rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, in Week 18.
Finally, my boldest prediction yet, the Cowboys win 31-20.
