The Tony RomoDak Prescott debate has taken yet another turn.

Initially, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was adamant that Romo would have the job once he's fully cleared to play. Prescott agreed that this is “Tony's team.” Even though he wants to play, he understands if the starting job is given back to Romo.

If Dak wins Sunday is he starter going forward? Jerry Jones: “I don't know if I'd look at it that way…There's nothing simple about this.”

It will be a tough matchup for Dallas as they battle with Aaron Rodgers and the 3-1 Green Bay Packers. It will be a test between one of the most stout run defenses in the league this year in Green Bay, and one of the most punishing ground games in Dallas.

Even though Jones wouldn't commit to Prescott continuing to start, the fact that he's at least open to the possibility is telling.

Prescott is clearly the future, but is he also the present? That's what Jones and the rest of the Cowboys' brass must decide moving forward. Their decision will be much harder if Prescott excels once again this Sunday.
