The quarterback controversy that we've all been discussing is finally about to play out.
Jerry Jones and Dak Prescott previously shared their thoughts on who should be the Cowboys‘ starting QB when Tony Romo returns from his back injury, but with Romo still out, the Cowboys' brass didn't have to make a concrete decision. That's about to change.
During Dallas' practice on Wednesday, Romo was spotted making passes and running play-action fakes while wearing pads:

This is the first practice, of the ones open to the media, that Romo has participated in. There's still no official indication of when Romo will return to the active roster, but it likely won't be this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The media speculation of who should start, Prescott or Romo, has been running rampant for months. At the very least, Romo's return to the practice field makes the looming decision for Dallas much more pressing. Things are about to get really interesting in the Big D.
