The Denver Broncos have their quarterback for now with Joe Flacco, but he only has a few years left in the game and Peter King thinks that could lead the team to draft Dwayne Haskins out of Ohio State with the 10th pick.

King last week said that the Broncos were looking at taking a stud linebacker with the pick, but now says he wouldn't be surprised if Haskins was their guy.

“I think I won’t be shocked if Denver, at 10, drafts Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins,” King wrote via 247 Sports.

The big question is, will Haskins be there at No. 10 for the Broncos to take. Most consider him the second-best quarterback in the class behind Kyler Murray and there are a few teams before the Broncos that could take a quarterback.

Haskins was impressive during his time at Ohio State, but his resume isn't all that long, which has given some scouts a reason to pause. Last year was his first year starting for the Buckeyes and there is some question if that will relate to long-term success in the NFL, something that needs to be there in a first-round quarterback.

There were previous reports that the Broncos would take a guy in the late round to try and mold into their starter for when Flacco is gone, but if the Broncos decide that Haskins is the best option, don't be surprised if the team turns in his name to the commissioner on the first day of the NFL draft.
