The Denver Broncos got themselves a fantastic hire with former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line coach Mike Munchak. He will be heading to the Mile High City to fill in at the same position.

Munchak was a former offensive lineman himself and a great one at that. Munchak was named to nine Pro Bowls, four First-team All-Pro teams, six Second-team All-Pro teams, as well as having his number retired with the team. Munchak was also named to the team's 1980's All-Decade Team.

Munchak was incredible during his time with Pittsburgh and produced a fantastic blocking unit in each year he spent with the team from 2014-2018. The Steelers have since promoted Shaun Sarrett to fill in for Munchak, but Sarrett has some big shoes to fill after the success Munchak had.

The Broncos desperately need the help on the offensive line considering they have an incredibly young line aside from right guard Ronald Leary, who entered the league back in 2012. The offensive line has a lot of potential with players like left tackle Garrett Boles and Leary. It's not out of the realm of possibilities for the Broncos to draft some help in protecting quarterback Case Keenum.

Munchak could very well turn the line around full circle in 2019, so it'll be interesting to see going forward. The Broncos got the right guy for the job considering Munchak's fantastic track record as a coach in the league. Although he did not have the best of years while acting as the Tennessee Titan's head coach, the Titans were in a big rebuild, and Munchak's potential wasn't fully unleashed.
