The Denver Broncos have struggled offensively through the first two weeks of the season. Joe Flacco understands that the offense needs to continue working in practice despite the slow start.
“There’s no feeling sorry for yourself in the NFL,” Flacco said Sunday. “We’re all a bunch of grown men and [have a] bunch of people looking up to us . . . and in order to be a good role model and a good teammate and a good football player, you have to hold your head up high and have a lot of confidence and go out there and practice hard and keep grinding. That’s what I’m going to do and that’s what I expect everybody else to do.”
The Broncos have only combined to score 30 points as a team in their first two games of the season. Furthermore, their 30 points so far are the fifth-least amount of points scored in the NFL.

Unfortunately, the Chicago Bears offense was able to get into field-goal range following two questionable plays on the final drive. Unlike Cody Parkey, Eddy Pineiro was able to make a 53-yard field goal to put a dagger in the Broncos heart.
The Broncos will attempt to perform better on offense against a much-improved defense in the Green Bay Packers in Week 3.
