The Denver Broncos have seemingly managed to shore up some depth under center this offseason. He knows full well what the expectations are for the 2019 NFL season.
The Broncos have struggled to get back into playoff contention in recent years. According to ABC's Troy Renck, Flacco admits he must win games.
#Broncos Flacco admitted his job is not to serve as a mentor. “My job is to win football games”. He’s right bc he if you don’t win, you don’t keep the job. As he admitted that’s “beauty of sport” #Denver7 pic.twitter.com/nww6lZwW8h

There is certainly plenty of truth to Flacco's comments. Denver has not done much winning as of late and most of their struggles can largely be attributed to a lack of stability under center. Following the failed attempt with quarterback Case Keenum, the Broncos are now hoping Flacco can do the job.
The veteran certainly has enjoyed plenty of winning throughout his career, especially in the postseason. Perhaps the Broncos are hoping Flacco can bring some playoff magic to Denver.
Unfortunately, has not been able to garner it in recent years during his time with the Baltimore Ravens. It was during that time that he realized he must find a way to win games consistently if he hopes to remain as a starter in the NFL.
Flacco had been the starter in Baltimore until his struggles spurred the front office to find his potential replacement. Once he got hurt, the Ravens decided to move on from him.
Although the Broncos have high hopes for his arrival, he knows full well how quickly things can change if a team is not winning.
