The Russell Wilson era is underway for the Denver Broncos, as the new star quarterback has started working with the team. Once September rolls around, mile-high football will be one of the biggest stories of the season.
Peyton Manning is among the many onlookers who are excited for Wilson and the Broncos. He also suggested that having a new coaching staff will benefit Wilson and that he is looking forward to seeing the new-look Broncos, per Aric DiLalla of the team's website.

So he's going to be in teaching mode, as well. If you're a new player and you're catching up to everybody else in a leadership position, that can be difficult. So I think Russell's at a real advantage where they're learning Coach [Nathaniel] Hackett's offense together, figuring out what works and what doesn't work and I think he's going to be great obviously for our young receivers.”
As the last great quarterback to play for the Broncos, Manning will be looking to see if Wilson and head coach Nathaniel Hackett can bring the team back to the postseason. Wilson will have tons of weapons to go to on offense while the Denver defense looks to have another strong season.
The Broncos are looking to get back to competing for championships and now have a quarterback good enough to lead them there. Although starting in a new environment may have its downisdes, it also has advantages.
