The betting lines are heavily favoring the New Orleans Saints to snag a victory against the Denver Broncos in Week 12. The Mile High squad is entering the matchup without a legitimate quarterback at the helm after four of their playmakers were sidelined due to COVID-19 related matters.

Drew Lock together with backups Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles are all mandated to undergo a five-day quarantine due to being identified as high-risk COVID-19 close contacts. The Broncos' fourth quarterback in Jeff Driskel was already placed in the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier in the week.

The team had to dig deep in order to find a replacement under center and eventually promoted practice squad wide receiver Kendall Hilton who previously appeared as a gunslinger for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the collegiate ranks back in 2015.

A lack of talent on the field forced the Vegas odds to widen the line between the two teams. As per Draft Kings, the line for the Saints-Broncos game was previously sitting at Saints -6.5 earlier this week which eventually jumped to Saints -14.5 for Circa Sports.

According to Pro Football Talk, the total points scored number has also plummeted due to the absence of the Broncos players. The over/under was initially set at about 43 points but eventually dropped down to about 36 at sportsbooks.

The Saints are heading to the game with a seven-game winning streak to account for an 8-2 overall record while the Broncos are riding the momentum of their Week 11 win against the Miami Dolphins to tally a 4-6 win-loss standing.
