Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz realizes the loss of Carson Wentz now puts extra pressure on his side of the football. It is why he's more than unhappy with how the defense has been playing as of late.
During his presser, the defensive coordinator laid out what is happening … in rather blunt fashion.

Yeah, we want to play better. We want to give up fewer points. We want to take less defensive penalties. Every step along the way.”
“Now, when you’re 12-2, we’re on a week by week basis, and never really even pay attention to that, but say you’re 7-5 right now,” Schwartz said. “Guess what? There’s already that urgency, and you’re in the moment maybe a little bit. There’s some lessons to be learned from it. Some of our younger guys here or there, maybe some guys that haven’t been in a position like this before.”
Jim Schartz did, however, return to what he believed to be the “bottom line” for the Eagles over the last two outings. That, sure, things weren't great, but Philly left those games with a victory.
Either way, my fantasy football points aren't secondary to anything!
