The Philadelphia Eagles, led by quarterback Nick Foles, are trying to make another run at the Super Bowl and they have already pulled off one big upset. Peter Schrager of the NFL Network is impressed with what he has seen and has some high praise for Foles, calling him the most clutch quarterback to ever play the game.

“Nick Foles in the biggest of moments, there is no other QB I would rather have and I'll go one further, There might be no qb I'd rather have in NFL history in a big moment.”

That is quite the praise for a quarterback that was thinking about retirement just a few years ago, but it's hard to ignore what Schrager is saying. Foles doesn't always throw the best looking ball and he does make mistakes, but when the game is on the line, Foles comes through.

Against the Bears he threw for 266 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, but one of those touchdowns was late in the fourth quarter that gave the Eagles the lead and they never gave it back. Not only did Foles help the Eagles win, he also earned himself a really nice bonus.

With the restructured contract that Foles agreed to during the offseason playing at least 33 percent of his snaps earned him $500,000 and a win also earned him another $500,000.

Foles will have the chance to earn another $1 million with a victory against the New Orleans Saints, but for it to happen Foles is going to have to rise up to the occasion again and have another huge game.
