If anybody understands what Odell Beckham Jr. is currently going through, it's Eli Manning.

The New York Giants leader admitted that what OBJ is currently going through “can become a hassle,” via Paul Schwartz of the New York Post.

“Even though it wasn’t really something that was on my mind you just had to keep answering questions about it,’’ Manning said, via Paul Schwartz of the New York Post. “It’s not something I discussed with people, but for whatever reason it becomes an issue. I didn’t harp on it, I didn’t worry about it, but the fact that it was in the papers or you had to answer about it, it can become a hassle.

“Hopefully, obviously everything with Odell and that, whether it gets solved or whatever, it’s something that you don’t have to keep answering about it.’’

Beckham Jr., 25, has traveled through the most tumultuous offseason of his career. In fact, it's been the roughest calendar year of the LSU product's career (after he managed to suit up in just four games a season ago).

Rehabbing from a season-ending ankle injury and overcoming reports about his security beating up another individual as well as the “white powder and pizza” video has been tough, to say the least. And considering all of this is transpiring at the very time his rookie deal is running out brings a collision of all worlds to the table.

Manning, no matter what Beckham does, will always be there. He's the leader of the offense and will always look to diffuse even the slightest of damaging situations.

On day one of New York Giants minicamp, the duo looked great. For now, the contract talks remain in the background.
