New York Giants Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been making steady steps forward in his recovery from a surgically-repaired left ankle over the last several weeks.

Beckham Jr. has now given more reason for optimism after posting a video of him making a phenomenal catch on UCLA's practice field.

The 25-year-old looks to be in great physical shape at this point in the offseason that should give the Giants plenty of optimism that he will be ready to go well before the season opener. Beckham Jr. has only increased his level of activity on the field as the offseason has rolled along that will more than likely see him be a full participant in training camp later this month.

Despite not having a new contract in place, Beckham Jr. has been a full participant in the entire team offseason workouts that have only spoken more greatly of him both on and off the field. The fact that he has also continued to show promising steps forward in his recovery should at some point lead to increased talks toward working out a massive extension that could make him the highest-paid player at his position.

When healthy, Beckham Jr. has proven to be one of the game's most productive wideouts that can be a substantial game-changing factor in the passing game. This could see him replicate that high level of performance in 2018 that should re-establish him as one of the premier pass catchers in the league that would further make clear that he deserves to be under a lucrative long-term deal.

Beyond that, this latest video demonstrates that Beckham Jr. is ready to make his return to the field next season to fully put behind him the disappointing 2017 campaign by showing out that he's back to being All-Pro talent that he is on the field.
