The Green Bay Packers made some peculiar selections in the 2020 NFL Draft, including the choice to take AJ Dillon in the second round. Over two months since the pick was made, Aaron Jones spoke out on Green Bay drafting Dillon.
While making an appearance on NFL Network's NFL Total Access, Jones shared how he feels with the Packers adding Dillon:
“I know it's the NFL. They're bringing in guys every day to compete so I mean it's just gonna raise my game and I'm excited to have him there and start working with him, teaching him the playbook and everything,” Jones told NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano.
Just this past season, Jones put together the best season of his career with the Packers. The former fifth-round pick was able to rush for a career-high 1,084 yards and 16 touchdowns. In addition, he would haul in a career-best 49 receptions for 474 yards and another three scores through the air.

Jones is entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2020, with him looking to earn an extension from the Packers in the near future. Some people believe the addition of Dillon could point toward Green Bay letting Jones walk in free agency next offseason.
Last season, Jones proved that he's a valuable weapon on offense for the Packers. Regardless of whether or not this is his last season in Green Bay, Jones isn't going to let Dillon's selection deter him from having another productive season in 2020.
