Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers were in a rough position heading into this week's game against the New York Jets. If they won the game, fans were going to complain about their draft position getting worse. On the other hand, if they lost the game, fans would have complained about losing to the Jets.
Even though the situation is less than ideal, Rodgers made the most of it. Not only did the Packers end up getting the win, Rodgers had the best game that he has had all season long.
He completed 37 of his 55 pass attempts for 442 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. In addition to his passing numbers, Rodgers also ran in two touchdowns in the game.
Following the game, in a quote shared by Zachary Jacobson of Cheesehead TV, Rodgers made it clear that he has no intention of quitting on his teammates even though the season has been rough.

Article Continues BelowRodgers has been dealing with quite a few issues this season. He has had knee issues since the Week 1 injury that he suffered against the Chicago Bears and has also dealt with a groin injury.
On the season following his big game against the Jets, Rodgers has thrown for 4,416 yards, 25 touchdowns, and just two interceptions. His two rushing touchdowns were his first two of the season.
Green Bay is not terribly far away from getting back into contention. Despite all of the drama, the Packers need a new head coach with a new scheme and a few upgrades at positions. Rodgers will be just fine, assuming he can stay healthy next season.
All of that being said, Green Bay fans should enjoy the win over the Jets and getting to see the normal Rodgers that they know and love. It may take them a spot or two down in the draft, but it is well worth it.
