The Green Bay Packers are coming off yet another disappointing loss after falling just short against the Seattle Seahawks 27-24 on Thursday night.
It has put their playoff chances in an even tougher position heading into the final six games of the season. Following the loss, Rodgers was asked about if there is any lingering hope left for the year to which he was taken aback by but voiced that he believes all it will take is one major moment to break through, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Of course we believe in each other. It’s just going to take one galvanizing moment. Whether that’s a speech or a practice, or something happens in a game — something’s got to get this thing going. I thought we had moments tonight and I thought that’s where we were going. Defense — a lot of injuries. Offensively, we lost Jimmy [Graham], but guys battled, so nobody gave up hope. We just didn’t play well enough to win.”
The Packers are a difficult position where it now may come down to the team having to run the table the rest of the way through the season in order to compete for a playoff spot. Green Bay had their chance to grab a win against the Seahawks late but fell short that included a crucial decision late to punt on 4th-and-2 that could have changed the course of the game in their direction.
There is an obvious uphill battle for the Packers to once again climb, but Rodgers doesn't seem concerned at this point with his eyes focused on a strong finish to the season in order to put his team in the position to grab a playoff spot. He has shown in the past that he can drive his team to the playoffs behind a late push in the second half of a season.
It is simply on his shoulders to once again take on that massive responsibility of leading the team back to the postseason.
