Former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has found himself in some hot water after an incident at a Green Bay High School basketball game. According to Fox 11 News McCarthy was involved in an incident with referees after his stepson's game on Tuesday night.
Pulaski High School defeated Notre Dame Academy by one point in the regional high school boy’s basketball game. McCarthy's stepson is a member of the Notre Dame Academy team, and the loss ended his teams season.
Someone’s gotta hire Mike McCarthy. He’s out here picking fights with high school basketball refs 😂 https://t.co/FeoHeUhXHB

The video above shows McCarthy following the ref's after the game while they were trying to leave the gym and the school athletic director had some choice words for his behavior.
“This parent chose to follow the officials and berate them, which is clearly unacceptable,” said Janel Batten, Pulaski’s athletic director.
“Some things were said, some language was used that we don't want in our gym, unsportsmanlike language,” said Batten.
Fox 11 asked Batten if she had seen something like this during her time with Pulaski and she said in the five years she has been with the school she hasn't.
Fox 11 asked Notre Dame prep for an on-camera interview, but instead, they sent out a statement saying they are looking into the situation.
“We have been contacted by the WIAA regarding last night’s basketball game, and we are currently looking further into this situation,” the statement from Mathu reads. “We will continue to stress the importance of sportsmanship and respect to our students, parents, fans, and community members.”
Maybe it's best for everyone involved that McCarthy leaves the Green Bay area.
