Jawaan Taylor is one of the hottest rising stars in college football today, and it was just disclosed that the Green Bay Packers met with him at the NFL Draft Combine.

In addition to meeting with the Packers, Taylor said that he'd like to meet with the Houston Texans and a few other teams, and he is hoping that he will go in the top 10 of the draft.

It was previously confirmed that Taylor met with six teams.

Jawaan Taylor is looking like a strong option for the first-round draft, and for good reason.

“The team’s offensive line has an immediate hole at right guard and a future need at right tackle, and Taylor has impact potential at the two positions. He could help at right guard and provide insurance at right tackle in 2019 before transitioning out to the edge full-time in place of Bryan Bulaga, who is entering the final year of his contract.”

Taylor's got an enviable draft profile, as well, which could be why he's in such high demand with all of these teams.

“He can struggle at times with speed off the edge, especially flexible rushers who can bend underneath him, but Jawaan Taylor has the frame, competitive nature, balance, and forceful hands to thrive in pass protection and in the run game. He has the reliable character, can-do attitude, and pro-ready make-up that fits NFL locker rooms.”

It will be interesting to see where Jawaan Taylor ultimately ends up, and we will keep you apprised of all the developments as they occur.
