Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been under a lot of scrutiny this season for his relationship with now-former head coach Mike McCarthy and his decline in performance overall.
Now, Packers reporter Aaron Nagler is adding fuel to that fire, ripping Rodgers for missing some throws in Green Bay's game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon:
McCarthy was clearly the problem. Not the QB who they paid a billion dollars to not hit wide open guys.

Ouch.
While Rodgers does not look like the same quarterback who led the Packers to the Super Bowl during the 2010-11 campaign, he still seems to be far from Green Bay's main problem, if he is even a problem at all.
The 35-year-old entered Sunday afternoon with 3,700 yards, 23 touchdowns, and just one interception while completing 62 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 99.6.

You can understand the frustration of Packers fans, who are used to making the playoffs year in and year out. However, this year, Green Bay looks like it will miss the postseason for the second straight season, which would mark the first time that has happened since 2006.
It is important to keep in mind, though, that the primary reason the Packers failed to qualify for the dance a year ago was because Rodgers missed most of the season with a broken collarbone.
Rodgers is also just two years removed from leading the NFL with 40 passing touchdowns, so his demise seems to be greatly exaggerated.
That being said, you can't stop fans and reporters from ripping their team.
