Jawaan Taylor may have to start making green his color, as the newest reports suggest that the Green Bay Packers may have significant interest in him in the 2019 NFL draft.

An offensive tackle who first came to prominence during his college career in Florida, Taylor met with the Packers at the NFL Combine, and it was allegedly at that time that the team expressed the most interest in him.

While things change quickly in the draft, there's a good chance that the Packers would think about drafting him if he's available in that spot, according to USA Today.

Jawaan Taylor also met with the Redskins, Giants, Bills, Browns, and Jets.

In addition to Taylor, the Packers met with Dalton Risner at the NFL Combine as well.

Both players could be options for the Packers in the first round. The team’s offensive line has an immediate hole at right guard and a future need at right tackle, and both Taylor and Risner have impact potential at the two positions.

They each could help at right guard and provide insurance at right tackle in 2019 before transitioning out to the edge full-time in place of Bryan Bulaga, who is entering the final year of his contract.

Taylor attended Cocoa in Cocoa, Florida. He was originally committed to the University of Miami to play college football before switching to the University of Florida. Jawaan Taylor became a starter at Florida his true freshman year in 2016.
