The Green Bay Packers are counting on Aaron Rodgers to regain the form in 2019 that makes him a two-time NFL MVP. Fully recovered from multiple injuries that afflicted him last season and acclimating well to the offensive system implemented by rookie head coach Matt LaFleur, Rodgers seems poised for a monster campaign come kick off of this season. Despite his otherworldly level of talent, though, Rodgers won't be able to lift the Packers back to the playoffs all by himself.

He'll have ample help from wide receiver Davante Adams, who blew up last season with 111 catches for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns, his third straight year notching double-digit scores. The Packers are light on proven skill position talent otherwise, but considering Adams' evolution into one of the league's most dangerous wide receivers, it's safe to say Rodgers will lead Green Bay to an above-average offense this season at the very least.

Should that prove the case, left tackle David Bakhtiari will undoubtedly deserve nearly as much credit as Adams. Why? The three-time All-Pro came in at No. 13 on Pro Football Focus' list of the top-50 players for 2019, ranking first among all offensive linemen.

“The highest-ranked offensive lineman on the 2019 PFF50 is none other than the league’s top pass protector, Green Bay Packers’ David Bakhtiari. Earning 93.0-plus pass-blocking grades in each of the past three seasons, Bakhtiari leads all offensive linemen with 1,200-plus pass-blocking snaps played since 2016 in pass-blocking grade (96.8). He also leads all offensive tackles on the list in pressure percentage allowed (3.4%) and pass-blocking efficiency (98.1).”

Bakhtiari, 27, was a fourth-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, starting every game in which he's appeared for his entire six-year career.
