Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers will play Sunday in a high profile and much-anticipated matchup with the New England Patriots. That much is ascertained when the Packers have taken Rodgers’ name off of the team’s final injury report for Week 9, per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Rodgers was limited at the Packers’ Wednesday practice, but came back to practice in full on Thursday and Friday. The star quarterback hasn’t been 100 healthy since hurting his knee in the first half of Week 1’s home game against the Chicago Bears, but has not missed a game so far this season either. In fact, he’s been performing admirably under center. Through the first eight weeks of the 2018 NFL campaign, Rodgers has managed to collect 2,283 passing yards and 13 touchdowns with only one interception.

Rodgers is coming off a solid performance in Week 8, albeit in a 29-27 road loss to the Los Angeles Rams, in which he went 18 of 30 for 286 passing yards and a touchdown.

With Rodgers expected to see action this Sunday, football fans are expected to get treated to a rare and glossy showdown between the two best signal-callers of this generation, as New England quarterback Tom Brady is also all set to take the field in Foxboro.
