The Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles have a Week 4 matchup on Thursday Night Football. It appears the Packers will have linebacker Za'Darius Smith available after he was limited during the week with a calf injury:

Smith is a major cog in the Green Bay defense. Along with Preston Smith, he was one of their biggest free-agent acquisitions this offseason.

So far, both have lived up to the hype. Preston Smith is on another level right now. He has 4.5 sacks, one interception, one forced fumble and two pass deflections.

Meanwhile, Za'Darius Smith isn't far behind. He has three sacks and is constantly a menace, getting to the backfield and creating a lot of issues for opposing offenses.

Smith racked up two sacks in their Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos, but had been questionable for Thursday's game.

That would've been a major blow had he been forced to sit out. The Packers' defense has looked strong this year but can't afford many slip-ups or injuries, especially considering they're going up against Carson Wentz and an Eagles getting Alshon Jeffery back.

The Packers head into this game against the 1-2 Eagles with a perfect 3-0 record. Obviously, they're hoping they can keep their winning ways going and be the first team in the NFL this year to reach four wins.

Doing that is no easy task, no matter who the opponent is. However, having Za'Darius Smith available makes things a little bit easier for Green Bay.
