The Houston Texans are once again the champions of the AFC South division. With the playoff-bound Texans capturing divisional titles in back-to-back seasons, head coach Bill O'Brien is quite impressed with the such an accomplishment while he believes that the franchise has now strung together some serious consistency in Houston.
“It is a good accomplishment,” O’Brien recently told reporters, via USA TODAY Sports. “I think anytime you can win 10 games and win your division four out of five years, I think it show some level of consistency. Obviously, we have a long way to go, but it’s a great accomplishment.”
The Texans notably won the AFC South in both 2015-16 and 2016-17 before doing so in back-to-back seasons once again in 2018-19 and 2019-20.

With the rival Tennessee Titans set to travel to Houston for a Week 17 clash, the Texans currently sit as the No. 4 seed in the AFC playoff picture behind the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, and Kansas City Chiefs, respectively.
With the AFC South already wrapped up this time around, the Texans can become the No. 3 seed if things swing the right way by the end of Week 17 while Houston can also prevent the Titans from reaching the postseason by way of the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoff picture.
