Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre was known for shinning when the lights were brightest, and he sees a lot of that in Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Favre hosts a weekly show on Sirius XM and said he was impressed with both the Texans and New Orleans Saints, but the one guy who really stood out to him was Watson.
“Neither side disappointed but Deshaun Watson was money and had ice water in his veins,” said Favre via Texans Wire. “I mean, he played exceptionally well.”
Favre didn't pick out on play or drive, but there is a good chance he is talking about the final Texans drive. With 50 seconds left to go in the game and the Texans not having any timeouts, Watson drove the team 75 yards in 13 seconds for the go-ahead touchdown.

Not often do losing teams get all the praise but the Texans offense did everything in their power to come away with a victory.
After Watson scored the touchdown, the Texans defense couldn't make a stop and let the Saints move into field goal range for the winning kick.
If Watson can continue his strong play going forward, the team is going to win a lot more games, then they lose. Favre doesn't give out praise to everyone, so Watson getting such high praise from the Hall of Famer is a big deal.
