The NFL recently released the league's “All-Decade Team” for the 2010s with such a list featuring very few surprises as some players just simply took over the game throughout the last 10 years. Coming as absolutely no surprise whatsoever, longtime Houston Texans pass rusher J.J. Watt was selected as one of the members of this memorable squad.

As a result of being named to the NFL's “All-Decade Team” for the 2010s, Watt recently commented on receiving such an honor while even throwing a joke in there to bring a little light to the current landscape of the planet.

“Incredible list of players,” Watt tweeted. “Very fortunate and grateful to find myself amongst them. Would greatly enjoy sitting around a table (6 feet apart) with some beer and swapping stories with this group.”

It is also worth noting that the veteran pass rusher was one of only eight players to be voted onto this list unanimously.

A three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, the 31-year-old Watt has notably spent his entire playing career as a member of the aforementioned Texans. He was originally selected by the AFC South franchise with the No. 11 overall pick in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Wisconsin.

Although Watt has unfortunately encountered a variety of different injuries over the course of his NFL playing career, the majority of which have caused him to miss significant time, there is no doubt that the longtime Texans defender is one of the best ever at his position.
