The Andrew Luck redemption tour was in full force in 2018. Luck put up massive numbers and helped lead the Indianapolis Colts back to the playoffs.

Last year, Luck completed a career-high 67.3% of his passes for 4,593 yards and 39 touchdowns. He had completely silenced all the doubters who cropped up after he missed all of 2017 due to injury.

However, there appears to be some bad news: Luck is injured again and the timetable is murky.

Andrew Luck has been dealing with injury problems for some time in the offseason. However, that wasn't much of a concern at first because there was plenty of time to heal. Now though, with the regular season just one month away, it seems he isn't progressing as the Colts had hoped.

Yes, Frank Reich says Luck is progressing, but the fact that Luck still isn't going to be practicing for a while has to make fans a little uneasy.

As proven by 2017 and 2018, this team goes as Andrew Luck does. The Colts simply weren't good while he was injured, then looked like a very exciting and talented team with him on the field.

Therefore, if he is forced to miss some time this season, the results could be ugly for Indianapolis.

The good news is that there are still a few weeks before the start of the regular season. According to this report, Luck is expected to miss the next few practices. It doesn't give a specific time for Luck's return, stating he “likely won't be out there for the Colts' next three practices.” However, that also indicates the Colts believe he could return sometime shortly after that.

For now we'll just have to take the “wait and see” approach. Remember, it would be wise of the Indianapolis Colts to be extra careful with Andrew Luck, so this could simply be a case of not wanting to push anything.
