It's been a good past week for people known as “Edge”. Former Indianapolis Colts superstar running back Edgerrin James has been named as part of the 2020 class of Hall of Fame inductees.

While the other “Edge” returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble, causing the crowd to go crazy when they heard “You think you know me?” blaring, James will get his own form of love.

James was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts back in 1999, with the fourth overall pick. He did not disappoint from there.

James spent seven seasons with the Colts, then three with the Arizona Cardinals, and finally one with the Seattle Seahawks.

In that time, “The Edge” ran for 12,246 yards and 80 touchdowns on 3,028 carries (4.0 yards per carry). He had seven seasons of over 1,150 rushing yards, including a stretch of five straight years.

James also caught 433 receptions in his career, doing so for 3,364 yards and 11 more touchdowns.

The running back was a major part of the Colts offense, that had stars like Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark.

Despite all those weapons in the passing game, opposing defenses always made sure to keep an eye on James, he could burn you at any moment.

This is a well-deserved honor, and one that you won't see many complaints about. Not only is James recognized as one of the greats at the running back position, he is universally loved. It's hard to find many bad words about the NFL legend, and it will be even harder now that he has the Gold Jacket.

One thing is for certain though, on this day this “Edge” can see clearly, everything has come to life. Corny, a little bit, too bad.
