The Indianapolis Colts managed to reclaim their throne atop the AFC South in 2018. Tight end Eric Ebron is adamant that they have no intention of giving it up any time soon.

There have been a number of notable changes in the division this offseason. According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, Ebron still feels it has little impact the Colts' standing as the best team.

“I respect the Jaguars don't get me wrong, but we are not losing the AFC South this year, I'm sorry.”

Ebron likely points out the Jacksonville Jaguars due to the addition of former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles. The arrival of a Super Bowl MVP has generated some hype for a Jaguars team looking to bounce back in the 2019 NFL season. Regardless, it is safe to say that Ebron is still not worried.

The Houston Texans still boast one of the more talented rosters in the league and should prove to be the biggest challenge to their title defense. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans have high hopes that they will finally be able to take that next step into becoming legitimate playoff contenders. At this point, there is no question that the Colts will have their work cut out defending their crown as the reigning champs.

Of course, there is still good reason for Ebron to be confident. Like the Colts, he enjoyed quite the resurgence last season alongside quarterback Andrew Luck and expectations are now as high as ever in Indianapolis.

The Colts will not have to wait very long to defend their crown when they square off against the Titans in Week 2.
