There has been plenty of talk regarding this year's frontrunners for MVP. Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich feels quarterback Andrew Luck has built up a worthy bid.

Luck has recently emerged as a potential candiate to take home the award. Reich feels he deserves to be in the conversation, as shared in a quote via the team website.

“Yeah, absolutely,” Colts coach Frank Reich said Wednesday when asked if Luck was deserving of the award. “I mean, the string of games he’s put together playing at a high level, [and] doing everything that you would think an MVP player would do. Helping win the kind of games that we’ve won, and just the level of consistency week in and week out.”

There is certainly plenty of truth to Reich's comments. It appears bettors feel the same way after Luck garnered the third-best odds to win MVP this week. It is easy to see why after what he has managed to accomplish this season.

Among the notable favorites to win the award this year are Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. Both players have managed to not only put up remarkable numbers, but have also led their teams to the best record in the respective conferences.

Luck is in the process of trying to power the Colts to the playoffs after a slow start to the season.

Although the Colts may have gotten off to a slow start, Luck's stellar play has led them to a five-game winning streak. His numbers are also right there with Mahomes and Brees. He currently ranks second in the NFL in passing touchdowns (32), fourth in completions (299), and ninth in yards (3,112).

If he does not win MVP, Luck is undoubtedly a shoe-in to take home the Comeback Player of the Year Award following his hiatus from the NFL with a shoulder injury.
