The 2018 NFL season was a successful one for Indianapolis Colts wide receiver TY Hilton. It appears he had to overcome multiple injuries in order to make it happen.

TY Hilton had been dealing with injuries down the stretch of the season. According to George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin, he even managed to play through multiple injuries on the same ankle:

(Hilton) Played through the second half of the season with a high and low ankle sprain on the same ankle.

“I’m a team guy.”

Offseason rest has done him very good. Not sure how much work he’ll do this spring.

Hilton's comments are a testament to the sacrifice he is willing to make as a teammate. He has long served as the No. 1 option in the Colts' passing game. TY Hilton knew full well that his absence would be heavily missed by quarterback Andrew Luck. Fortunately, he was able to play through the pain to finish the 2018 campaign with 76 receptions for 1,260 yards and six touchdowns.

Of course, Hilton's toughness has never been brought into question. This is hardly the first time he overcame injuries to stay on the field and it is safe to assume it will not be his last. The Colts' primary concern now is making sure he gets back to 100 percent this offseason. It is no secret that expectations are higher than ever in Indianapolis. Even if Hilton is unable to take part in many offseason activities, there is no question that TY Hilton will be ready to go once the 2019 NFL season rolls around.
