Carson Wentz and the Indianapolis Colts are entering Week 10 NFL action needing to pick up another win. This week, they will take on No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars. If the Colts want to come back from a rough start to the season to get into the postseason, they need to pick up wins on a consistent basis.

Looking ahead at this week's matchup, the Colts are certainly the favorite to end up winning. Jacksonville has talent on their roster, but head coach Urban Meyer and company have been unable to get things going. The Jaguars are just 2-6 coming into this matchup.

On the other side of the field, the Colts sport a 4-5 record ahead of this game. Indianapolis is fresh off of a big 45-30 win over the New York Jets last week. Frank Reich's team seems to be getting on the same page on both sides of the ball, although the Colts still have quite a few question marks surrounding their ability to compete as a playoff-caliber football team.

Despite any of the questions the Colts still must answer, they have been playing better the last few weeks. Jonathan Taylor has been taking over as a true superstar for the offense and Darius Leonard's leadership and playmaking ability has the Indianapolis defense playing at their best. If they continue the trends they have set in recent weeks, the Colts should be able to take care of business against the Jaguars to get back to .500.

All of that being said, let's dive in and take a look at four bold predictions for the Colts this week as they take on the Jaguars.

Colts Week 10 Bold Predictions

4. The Colts Pick Off Lawrence At Least Two Times

Trevor Lawrence has not had the start to his NFL career that fans were hoping to see from him. He has struggled with turnovers at times and simply has not looked comfortable in the pocket. Lawrence has been improving over the last few weeks, but the Colts will throw a wrench in those improvements this week.

Indianapolis has shown the ability to put pressure on opposing quarterbacks at times and will do so again this week. They have also been very good at forcing turnovers. That will continue this week as well.

By the end of the game, Lawrence will throw at least two interceptions. The Colts' secondary is still somewhat of a question mark, but they will pass this week's test with flying colors.

3. Jonathan Taylor Continues His Recent Tear

So far this season, Taylor has continued proving that he is a rising superstar in the NFL. There are very few running backs around the league that can put up the kind of production that Taylor does on a consistent basis.

In nine games this season, Taylor has carried the football 140 times for 821 yards and eight touchdowns. Those numbers average out to an impressive 5.9 yards per carry. Taylor has also caught 23 passes for an additional 293 yards and another touchdown.

Last week against the Jets, Taylor racked up 172 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 19 carries. This week, we are predicting more of the same from the second-year running back. Taylor will end up with at least 140 rushing yards and another two touchdowns against the Jaguars.

2. Carson Wentz Quiets The Doubters Once Again

Following the Colts' heartbreaking Week 8 loss to the Tennessee Titans in overtime, fans and media members were blasting Wentz for two rough turnovers. Some even went so far as to say that the Colts should bench Wentz. Obviously, that was not going to happen and Wentz was able to come out last week and shut those critics up quickly.

Against the Jets, Wentz completed 22 of his 30 pass attempts for 272 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Those numbers showed why the Colts remain confident that Wentz is their long-term future at the quarterback position.

This week, once again Wentz will send a message to all of his doubters. Granted, putting up big production against the Jaguars is nothing to write home about, as Jacksonville's defense has struggled this season. But, we are predicting that Wentz racks up 250 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions through the air.

1. Indianapolis Improves to 5-5 With a Dominant Win

No matter what the individual performances look like, the Colts have to come up with a win this week. They are already off to a rough start when it comes to earning a spot in the AFC playoff picture.

Coming into this matchup just one game below .500, the Colts have a big opportunity. A win gets them back into the mix a bit. They would still have a lot of work to do to get into the playoffs, but they would put themselves in position to make that happen.

We are predicting that the Colts will not only win this game, but they will win it in dominant fashion. Indianapolis will end up taking this game by a final score of 35-17.
