Gardner Minshew has burst onto the scene as one of the most popular quarterbacks in the NFL this season. No, that isn't because he ha been putting up superstar numbers with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but rather because of his overall look and personality. He is the type of guy that everyone loves to root for.

In the two games that he has played with the Jaguars in his rookie season thus far, Minshew has completed 77.6 percent of his pass attempts for 488 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Those are solid numbers, especially for a rookie quarterback thrown to the wolves after Nick Foles went down with a broken collarbone. Now, the pressure is starting to mount on the rookie quarterback to continue playing at a high level.

All of that being said, what can we expect from Minshew on Thursday night in a divisional matchup with the Tennessee Titans?

Quite simply, this game is going to be tough for Minshew and the Jaguars. Tennessee has a hard-nosed defense coached by Mike Vrabel and the going is going to be tough. Minshew isn't going to be making huge plays, which brings up what he must do.

Minshew has to take what the defense gives him and not force the issue. If he starts forcing the issue, the Titans are going to make him pay with turnovers. Jacksonville's offense needs to focus on taking bits and pieces of yardage rather than big chunks.

Predicting a players game is never an easy task, especially against a defense that has had solid back-to-back showings. After all, the Titans' defense made Baker Mayfield look awful in Week 1.

The rookie needs to have a solid outing to give his team a chance to pick up their first win of the season. Jacksonville also needs to get a win to help get over the drama surrounding superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Minshew seems like the kind of guy that rises to the occasion when his team needs him, and that is what he will do this week against the Titans. They may not end up getting the win when everything is said and done, but Minshew will do his part to put them in a position to get a win.

Prediction for Minshew in Week 3 vs. Titans: 21-for-27, 215 yards, two touchdowns, one interception.
