The Jacksonville Jaguars may miss another starter for their team next week. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey is currently dealing with a knee injury, and it is not yet known if he'll be able to take the field this Sunday, according to Jordan Dajani of 247sports.

It was another blow to the Jaguars, who just lost Leonard Fournette. The running back was suspended for one game following his fight with Buffalo Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson last Sunday.

The Jaguars' 2018 campaign has been a disaster. They've lost their last seven games despite starting the season 3-1. Many expected them to be playoff contenders in the AFC this year, but they haven't been able to replicate their performance last year.

Blake Bortes was recently benched by head coach Doug Marrone. The fifth-year signal-caller couldn't get things done for the Jaguars offense, who is currently ranked 28th in the league in points per game per ESPN.

Ramsey has been productive for the Jaguars in three seasons with them. Above all, he has not missed a game ever since he came to the team in 2016. This season, the one-time Pro-Bowler and All-Pro is an asset for the Jaguars' secondary. He has 42 tackles, three interceptions and eight pass deflections to his credit. Losing him is truly costly for this struggling team.

The Jaguars' pass defense has prevented their opponents from torching them through the air. They've only allowed 205.6 passing yards per game this season. If Ramsey does not play this Sunday, the toughness of their pass coverage may not be the same.
