Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette had a season he'd like to forget after suffering a nagging hamstring injury. In addition to the injury, Fournette was called out by Tom Coughlin for his attitude issues on the sidelines. Fortunately for the Jags organization, it sounds like things have been resolved.
Sources: #Jaguars star RB Leonard Fournette met executive VP Tom Coughlin and the rest of the team’s brass to clear the air and move forward together for 2019, sources say. Sounds like it went well for both sides and things are headed in the right direction.

Coughlin does not mince words and does not put up with any kind of disrespect so it was a big deal when he called Fournette out late in the season. Fournette was seen on the sidelines looking like he could care less about the game as he sat with teammate T.J. Yeldon and both looked disinterested on the bench.
Article Continues BelowFournette had a fantastic rookie season in 2017 and is potentially one of the best running backs in the league. The Jags' workhorse back rushed for over one thousand yards in his rookie season after only playing in 13 games, but struggled in his sophomore season as he only played in eight games in 2o18. The former first-round pick will likely bounce back in a big way after a disappointing 2018 campaign.
Fournette was also fantastic in the playoffs last season, particularly in the divisional round in which he torched the Pittsburgh Steelers. If the Jags wish to have a solid offense heading into 2019, they did the right thing by resolving things with Fournette. The Jags need an offense to hold up the strength off the defense and retaining Fournette for the long run is a wise plan for the Jags going forward.
