According to an early Tuesday morning report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, Andrew Norwell has agreed to a five-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Per 2018 social media era rules, Schefter broke the news on the mean streets of Twitter:

As the tweet mentions, the five-year deal, making Norwell the highest paid guard in the entire National Football League, is valued at $66.5 million. Then again, as also noted, the 30 million American dollars is the only amount of loot that is guaranteed to end up in his checking account.

This continues a strong offseason for the Jaguars, as the franchise recently landed superstar wide receiver Allen Robinson on the market.

The 26-year-old Norwell has spent his entire NFL career as a member of the Carolina Panthers up until this report surfaced.

Originally arriving in Carolina back in 2014, he played his college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes. As it stands today, he has started 54 of the 55 regular-season contests in the National Football League.

With yet another talent on the offensive side of the football, here is to hoping it can help Blake Bortles not be so Blake Bortles next season. That, or Jacksonville simply decides to run the football on every single play.
