The Oakland Raiders continue to fluctuate throughout the 2017 NFL season. Fortunately, they were able to get back into the win column with a 21-14 victory over the division rival Denver Broncos.
Unfortunately, Oakland may have suffered a key casualty for next week in the process. According to Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, wide receiver Amari Cooper has been ruled out for Sunday's tilt versus the New York Giants:

Cooper left the Raiders' matchup with the Broncos early after sustaining a concussion on a hit from safety Darian Stewart. Stewart has since been fined by the NFL $24,308 for the hit on Amari Cooper.

That's Oakland now down its two best receivers. For those unaware how football works, that is not an ideal situation for the team to find itself in.
Quarterback Derek Carr will likely have to make due with the depleted receiving corps at his disposal. That said, Oakland has seemingly tried to re-commit itself to the run game after a slow start to the 2017 NFL season. However, with their current lack of weapons on the outside, they may not have much of a choice.
Fortunately, the vulnerable secondary of the Giants still may leave a few opportunities for Carr to capitalize on. Also, New York isn't all that good.
