Antonio Brown has yet to officially be suspended by the Oakland Raiders, and apparently hopes to mend his fractured relationship with the team despite so much mounting friction between he and organizational higher-ups. Whether the six-time Pro Bowler is ultimately forced to sit out multiple regular-season games or actually has the chance to get himself back in good graces with the Raiders, though, remains to be seen.

During an appearance on NFL Network Thursday evening, Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, shed further light on the developing situation between his client and Oakland.

“Not a lot is clear yet, other than the Raiders said AB should stay home today,” he said, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. “We haven’t heard anything about a potential decision yet… We’re trying to work through this. The goal is to work everything out. Our goal is to salvage this relationship… There is two sides to every story. My job is to bring everything back, try and get things worked out. Thats’ what I’m working on right now… He says nothing is final. I’m confident we can get back to doing all the right things that the Raiders signed him for… My hope is there isn’t a suspension and I’m not aware of any as of yet. I’m working with them to try to and avoid this scenario.”

Antonio Brown got into a heated argument with Raiders general manager Mike Mayock at practice on Wednesday after the six-time Pro Bowler was fined for missing a mandatory team activity. Oakland is reportedly considering taking additional action against the superstar wide receiver, including a suspension or potential release.

According to NFL Network, the Raiders have already decided Brown won't play in its Week 1 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday.
