The Oakland Raiders signed their second draft pick P.J Hall to his rookie contract making him the second rookie the team has signed.
According to OverTheCap, Hall's contract is for four years and approximately $3.2 million. This year he will make just over $480 thousand while in his last year of the contract he will make just over $1.1 million.
After trading down, the Raiders selected Hall with the 57th pick. Hall, a defensive tackle, came from Sam Houston State where he had an impressive career. He played in 56 games starting 54 of those and racked up 284 tackles, 42 sacks. He was also an outstanding special teams player blocking 14 picks.
After the draft head coach Jon Gruden said, Maurice Hurst and Hall were the top two interior rushers in the draft.

Hall has a lot of production getting to the quarterback in college. He’s got some measurables – quickness and speed and strength that are important at that position as well. To get those two guys, we felt they were the top two inside rushers in this draft,” said Gruden via RDreamer of Siler And Blake Pride.
For Hall, he is just excited to get to work with the Raiders.
“Coming on my visit, I knew that they needed help on the interior pass rush, trying to help out the edge rushers that they had. Having interior pass rush that can help collapse the pocket will actually help them out too, on the edge. We’re just ready to get to work here and do what’s best for the team,” said Hall.
