The Oakland Raiders will be taking on the Denver Broncos on Monday night to begin their 2019 season. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Oakland is planning on Antonio Brown to be inactive on Monday night.

It remains to be seen if the Raiders are going to suspend Brown or they're just making him inactive but nevertheless; he will remain away from the team. Brown could be suspended due to getting into a heated exchange with GM Mike Mayock during practice on Wednesday.
The All-Pro receiver was upset with Mayock for sending a fine to him for missing practices throughout his great helmet escapade. In the altercation with Mayock, Brown voiced his frustration and told the team's GM that was going to ‘punch him in the face'.
Article Continues BelowAs a result, Brown was absent from practice on Thursday and is facing a team-mandated suspension to begin the season. By being suspended, the theatrical receiver would be losing out on nearly $30 million in guaranteed money in the contract he signed in March.
While the Raiders decide what to do with Brown, he will remain away from the team. The relationship between Brown and the front office are hanging by the string of a thread and could be irreparable at this point.
The Raiders could suspend Brown and in doing so, they would be able to cut ties with the veteran receiver with no financial losses. For the time being, the team has to decide on what they plan on doing moving forward; whether it be a suspension or more fines for Brown.
While Brown is inactive, Jon Gruden will rely on Tyrell Williams, Hunter Renfrow, and Ryan Grant to lead the way at wide receiver.
