Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald is a notoriously slow starter, so when the two-time Defensive Player of the Year did not log a single sack through the first two weeks, no one was particularly worried.

Well, on Sunday night, Donald broke out with four tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack in the Rams' 20-13 win over the Cleveland Browns, marking his first truly dominant performance of the season.

But Donald still isn't happy with the way he is playing:

“I missed a lot of plays, so I ain’t satisfied with that,” said Donald, according to Sam Farmer of The Los Angeles Times. “I just gotta get better, keep working to get myself back in my groove.”

Of course, for a guy who racked up 20.5 sacks a year ago, one sack through three games is nothing, but while Donald is not satisfied thus far, he does acknowledge that he is getting better each week:

“I’ve been improving each week, that’s what I like, just getting better and better,” he said. “But I felt like I left a lot of plays out there that you don’t know and probably could have changed the game. Just gotta get better.”

Donald made one big mistake in the contest, incurring a roughing-the-passer penalty on the Browns' final drive of the game that moved Cleveland from the 9-yard line to the 4-yard line. However, the Browns were not able to capitalize.

“Just tried to make a play and I guess I got a little high [on the hit on Baker Mayfield],” he said. “That’s my mistake.”

The Rams are now 3-0 and will head home to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday.
